E-Gnyte

E-Gnyte (real name – Uchechukwu Austin Izunwa) was born and brought up in Yaoundé, Cameroon.
Austin attended a bilingual primary School in Yaoundé, Cameroon. After his G.C.E, he struggled to further his education due to lack of finance so he concentrated on his
other passion (Music) which had played a big role in his life from a young age. He developed his talent through several performances in shows and inter-school music competitions. He was twice the best RnB singer and three times the best dancer in school.
In 2003, his family relocated back to Nigeria. Life back in Nigeria was challenging but Austin did not lose focus. After a few music collaborations with some upcoming artistes which did not enjoy massive airplay, Austin moved to Lagos were he recorded his first two singles. In May of 2009, an A & R from EKOBEATS RECORDS was given a copy of the CD by a producer.  The rest (as the say) is history.
