M.Trill

M. Trill real name Teria Yarhere Like most rap artists around the globe, knew that he had the tendencies of putting words together to form rhymes before he ever knew he could rap. So when he embarked on a mission of writing lyrics for his elder brother, little did he know that he was laying a foundation for a career that will bring him this far.

Born into the family of Barrister and Mrs J.O.G Yarhere, "Mayjah Trill" joined the hip hop movement when he was in College. Although he knew how to rap, he was never at the fore front, instead he began exerting his energy into organizing hip hop shows.

After graduating from secondary school, M-Trill found himself in the company of people that boosted his love for hip hop especially rap music at the university of port-harcourt. Having learnt the basics for rapping like counting bars properly and rhyming; he began to thirst for publicity.

His first real single 'bounce' enjoyed massive airplay in Port Harcourt and he struck a deal with Grafton Records after graduating from the University of port-harcourt with a Bachelor's degree in Geology.

His album 'Number one' (with the hit single "beautiful") which hit the stores in October 2008 went gold and enjoyed massive success. It is no wonder he was named best male West African act at the 2008 channel O awards.
M-Trill has worked/performed alongside acts like Beenie Man, Akon, Junior Reid, Phoebe One, Pyrelli and other top Nigeria acts.

He is currently working on his second album since splitting ways with Grafton records and is getting set to drop new singles after his mixtape "Ladies and Gentllemen" had very good critical reviews.
